If you are going to buy Injustice 2 this May, you will have a few options to explore. For those who aren’t too interested in the skins and DLC items, the Standard Edition is your best bet. You will get to fight as Darkseid, the tyrannical ruler of the planet Apokolips. For those who would like to have more fighters up their sleeve, the Deluxe and Ultimate editions are available. The Digital Deluxe Edition will give players 3 DLC fighters as well as a skin that you can use to transform Supergirl into Power Girl. That will give her a new look, voice, and dialogue. A single gear shader pack–Defender–is also included with the Digital Deluxe version.
The Ultimate Edition, meanwhile, comes with nine DLC characters, three premier skins (one each for Supergirl, Flash, and Green Lantern), and two gear shader packs–Defender and Destroyer. While the extra characters and skins are great, we really wanted a steelbook with the Ultimate Edition. A Batman steelcase would’ve been really good, right? Are you listening, NetherRealm?
At things stand, we don’t know who the extra DLC characters will be. If you still want to take a closer look at them, you can check the official Injustice 2 website
